What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

If you’d like Popup Joe’s Coffee Co. to attend your event we need a few bits of info first. Obviously, we need to know where and when first off, and it would be great to know the likely amount of people who we will be serving. Finally, it would be great to have an idea of your budget so we can get a feel for the type of service expected. If it helps, bear in mind that the average cup of barista coffee ( take away) in the UK costs £2.50 for a medium cup. It may also help to know that mobile coffee machines produce drinks at a slightly slower rate than coffee shop machines, so it’s reasonable to expect a maximum of 100 cups/hour.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Almost everyone knows good coffee from bad, so it’s better to get a supplier who can provide high-quality barista drinks quickly, rather than a ‘cute looking retro van’ which is more about image than the product.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We have been in catering for over 30 years and cut our teeth in bars, restaurants and cafes. We made the decision 8 years ago to take barista coffee out to venues that would normally only get poor quality instant from burger vans.. and Popup Joe’s Coffee Co. was born. We’ve served high-quality Java all over the country.. we’ve even served the England Football Team!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We are new to this site so we haven’t done many with Add To Event but the ones we have done have had great reviews. We have been serving barista coffee at high profile events for the best part of a decade.
