What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to be able to provide a comprehensive quote, we just need a postcode & the date of the event. If a customer isn't sure on which hot tub is most suitable for them, they can provide a few details about their event and we will be able to advise them on which one is best. If a customer wants one of our solid hot tubs which come in one piece and are very heavy, we need to check access before we confirm the booking. We do this so we don't disappoint our customers or waste anyone's time.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The best advice we can offer to a customer is to check out the company's reviews. As a reputable company we encourage our potential customers to check out our reviews, and those of other companies if they are shopping around.

Also, research the product you are looking to hire as there are different types of hot tubs on the market such as seats/no seats, different heating times etc. We are always happy to advise our customers on this and find something suitable for their budget/event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

South East Hot Tubs was started in April 2013 as it has always been an ambition to create a business and work for myself. Since then we have built up an excellent reputation and have grown massively. We started with one hot tub and now hire out nearly 20. We have also recently branched out into supplying bell tents. It has been a massive learning curve from building our website to maintaining and repairing our hot tubs. We thoroughly enjoy what we do and have worked on film sets and with large swimming events - things we would never have normally been given the chance to do..

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

One of the biggest jobs we have picked up from Add to Event is supplying a hot tub to LeeFest in Kent. This was our first time hiring out to a festival, and one of the biggest events we have hired to. We met some great people and actually attended the festival too which was brilliant.

We would definitely recommend Add To Event as it has increased our bookings, we have already recommended it to other businesses who are now using Add To Event. It's very easy to use and great value for money.
