What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To be able to give an organiser the most accurate quote we need to know three things about the event; the location of it, the number of people to be catered for and the time of day that the event will be taking place. From these three key pieces of information we can use our experience to tailor the service that we are able to offer.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My best piece of advice to any organiser is to plan the timings of an event in as much detail as possible. From our point of view there is nothing worse than guests not getting to sample our delicious ice cream because a speech or main course has over run. We want all of your guests to enjoy our service without feeling rushed to do so.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started IScream Company just under 4 years ago and have loved every minute of it! It was an idea that grew out of our love for anything sweet from ice cream to candy floss. We love being able to offer our customer a service that is different and to a very high standard, but most of all we just love taste testing the ice cream.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had so many fantastic bookings through Add to Event that it is hard to pick just one! Purely for the spectacle we would have to pick our favourite as attending the homecoming of HMS Dauntless where we welcomed home over 1000 sailors and their families. It was truly one of the best experience to see the ship coming into dock and the sailors and their families reunited over our delicious ice cream. None of this would have been possible without Add to Event bringing the Navy Homecoming team and Iscream company together!
