Key information would be the time, number of guests, also if licences are applicable. For example street trading requires a number of licences in different local authorities. An event requires a public entertainments licence or a market operators licence in Scotland.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to make sure products are what they say they are - for example gluten or dairy free.
If the numbers are large a simple menu works best. If guests are receiving items via tokens please inform guests of this in advance to avoid disappointment for example your token can be exchanged for x y or z?

I am a third generation ice cream vendor - my family business ran from 1959 but I am now independent.. I am very passionate about ice cream.

Overall I have to say I love this website. It’s given my business a huge lift and I especially like the feed back from customers and reviews. One job that sticks out, was a primary school I attended and gave 600 happy kids an ice cream; they were delighted and so were the staff. I have recommended this site to fellow ice cream vendors and we pass each other work that we can’t attend to keep everyone happy .
