What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote we need the number of guests attending the event as this forms the baseline of the quote. We also need the time and date of the event, as well as the venue, which helps us to fine-tune the estimate.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To start with, I would recommend doing research on the companies who have sent you a quote. You may see a quote that's a lot cheaper than the rest, but it's cheaper for a reason. Look into the products they serve you. For example, if you're getting married and you wanted an ice cream van, would you want any old van to turn up selling artificial ice cream? Or would you want the best you can get for your big day? Research the business before booking!

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Brymor Ice Cream was founded in 1984. The business was created by Mr and Mrs Moore. They used to have a lot of dairy cows (Guernseys) and they had a lot of spare milk, so they tried to make ice cream as a little hobby. Little did they know they had just created Yorkshire's most loved ice cream. 33 years on and the business is growing more and more, introducing our brand to large supermarkets and buying more ice cream vans to cater for our huge demand.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Add to Event is a great website! We have made a few bookings from this website, all of which have been weddings, which is great for a business as they are the most profitable. I would certainly recommend Add to Event, to anybody! For the small price you pay for credits, you soon make it back in bookings.
