Dessert Delights provides a family run business that was established in 1994 and is based in Newcastle upon Tyne. They provide top standard fresh ice cream all around the northeast and can cater for all events and shows.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Ideally, we need an event date, a description of what type of event it is and for how many people. We’d also need to know if it’s an indoor or outdoor event and how long they require our service. From gaining this information we will then be able to put together a suitable quote for the individual and let them know if we can accommodate their needs and requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, I would recommend them to provide as much information as they can, don’t hesitate to ask questions or find the right service for yourself, ask the provider about what products they are offering and what they can supply.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started this family-run business in 1994, I always used to admire ice cream vans when I was younger. I always wanted to own a business of my own, my passion has always been making people smile and get a good service. So I created Carnival Times where I can provide my favourite sweet food to others.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I am new to this platform and looking forward to my first booking but I have booked a bouncy castle for my sons birthday which was a great experience! Managed to get a good price too and a very happy birthday boy! Add to Event makes finding services so much easier!
