What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If it was a potential client that was looking for quotes and still calling around, I would ask the client to make sure that they area genuine provider that has trusted reviews and that they have public liability insurance including PAT testing certificate just so that the client knows that they are insured through the venue. If you feel unsure don’t feel pressured into making any form of deposit. Always search for a social media page so you can see pictures of previous events just to make sure that you are getting what you are paying for.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Hamptom Leisure magic mirror is a family run business and we actually started with inflatables hires. In 2017 we took a big gamble and decided to sway over to the wedding and party organisation side due to our passion for striving for excellence and creating returning customers, while still managing to maintain a professional appearance and impression. While doing the bouncy castle side of the business we were asked multiple times if we had wedding equipment and at the time we didn’t but we are not able to cater for all kinds of events and functions - whether that be a family birthday or a cooperate event, where we can help we will. With our wedding packages we also have many other products to offer such as 4ft high light up love letters that come in white or a rustic wood that are both made by hand. We also offer a customisable cinema box that is 80cm X 50cm both these products combined create a professional look

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have had a few bookings with Add to Event within the short time that we have been using the website, which we are pleased with. If there was to be one that I would pick, it would be the 40th birthday surprise event we did with our magic mirror. At the old Bridge in hotel in Huntingdon, the night was a great evening and the client and her friends were very happy with the magic mirror. We have had a lot of interest for future bookings from the event and the client left us a very nice review as well. I have recommended Add to Event to all of my friends that I know and closely work with, as it is a great platform to get work and help people trust a proven company and it gives them piece of mind that they are booking a reliable service.
