What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
The key information we need from a customer in order to give a comprehensive quote is the number of guests, age range of the guests, whether the party is going to be inside or outside, rough location of the party and the date that the party is taking place. All of this information will ensure we can recommend the best products for the party, inform you if we have any discounts that would be applicable and allows us to give the most accurate quotation.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Safety is the number one aspect that should be considered when choosing a company to supply a bouncy castle. All castles should be PIPA (Professional Inflatable Play Association) tested on a year basis to ensure they meet the safety standards. We would highly recommend that you read a large number of reviews for any company before choosing the correct one in order to establish how reliable they are going to be, what their customer service is like and are they going to provide products that comply with British Standard BS EN 14960.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
We had a terrible experience one year when trying to hire a bouncy castle for our 5 year old daughters end of treatment party (she had undergone 2.5 years of chemotherapy for Leukemia). Every company we spoke to were fully booked and the one company that we finally managed to get a castle from had very poor customer service, which didn't give us any confidence that they would have shown up on the day. Thankfully they did and my daughter and her friends had a great time. After the party, due to the bad experience we had and the seemingly high demand that there appeared to be, we started to research what would be involved with starting a bouncy castle hire company, what other companies were in the area and whether or not it would be financially viable. After months of research we decide to take the plunge and are delighted that we did as it has been very satisfying being able to supply our wonderful castles for lots of families and provide them a much better experience than they might have had if they hired elsewhere.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have had a number of great bookings through Add to Event and find it a great way to connect to customers that otherwise my not have found us. One customer was looking for a bouncy castle for her daughter's party and she ended up choosing our Disco Dome which she found on our website after we responded to her request. When we went to collect the Disco Dome, she and her daughter were delighted to have chosen that particular castle and were very grateful for the service that we had provided.
