What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer we need the event date and time, location, number of guests, type of event and allergies and dietary requirements.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider if are they passionate about pizzas. If the provider makes their own dough. Check reviews and comments from previous clients online.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have been a professional chef for around 15 years. I have a passion for pizza and have travelled to Iikes of Italy and New York, where I’ve tasted some of the best pizzas. I have worked on developing the perfect tasting dough and experimented with flavours using the best ingredients, taking inspiration from my travels.

The first time I sold pizzas was to for charity. I ran this through Facebook and sold 30 pizzas and 48 cannoli in one afternoon. These pizzas were par-baked and were collected by customers from my home.

Since then, I started to get requests through my Facebook page and have supplied par-baked pizzas for different events. We have received wonderful reviews on the back of these events. This was when Rowan Tree Kitchen was started.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I’ve had a good amount of bookings through this platform. The first event I did was a corporate event for hungry staff members. We got set up and soon as we were ready 40 people immediately joined the queue, my colleague and I worked hard to get them all fed with our delicious pizzas. We got loads of great feedback on the day and great reviews afterwards! I’ve recommended Add to Event to a few people I know in the business and I know at least one has signed up and is receiving bookings.
