For us to provide a comprehensive quote, we would require the event date, type of event and a rough estimate of the number of guests, as well as the venue details? Is it indoors or outdoors.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research and give the caterer as much information on the event, numbers attending, also the food requirements for any allergies that any of your guests have. Just saying some guests have food allergies could be very difficult for the caterer without knowing what can and cannot be eaten.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started the business, having been in catering since I joined the Royal Navy as a cook back in 1970, after leaving the RN I worked in Algeria, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, Ghana, Yemen, Sudan, Iraq and Afghanistan for Catering Companies and the US State Department Contracts as a Catering Manager.
I then decided that I would start my own catering company providing quality event food, such as Hog, Lamb, Chicken Roasts, baked Jacket Potatoes from a Victorian Baking Oven and Healthy Food options instead of the normal run of the mill event food options that I had seen at events that I have been to in the past.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had many bookings through basically word of mouth, as well as recommendations from people who have attended events that we have catered for with our all-day menu serving a breakfast choice along with hot & cold drinks, afternoon cakes but mostly our jacket potato menu.
