What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order to give a comprehensive quote, I need the date of the event, time of arrival, how many guests and location. From this, I can make a decision on what show would best suit the customer.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't always go for the cheapest option, you pay a little and you lose a lot because you get someone who isn't experienced and might leave your guests with a bad experience. When you pay a lot you guarantee to get yourself an experienced magician who will leave guests with memories they will never forget.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My father was a magician, so was my granddad and great granddad. They have been mentoring me from a young age. My middle name is Merlin, so when I was 8 years I began practising. By the time I was 14 I was performing in restaurants all over Essex.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
