What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly look for membership of the Magic Circle, as to become one you have to be recognised as a skilled magician and entertainer. Ask about experience and type of effects performed, and make sure you are hiring a magician who is there to entertain by lifting the atmosphere, fun interaction and laughter levels. Some magicians show magic to you, but you want an entertainer that brings magic to the event

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Nick grew up with two loves magic and comedy. I perfected my trade as a magician by doing charity and magic club events. Then after being lucky enough was booked to be a resident magician in two establishments for 3 years every week. This gave me a real-world experience of how to entertain people from all levels. I have since performed at hundreds of weddings for lovely couples, corporate events, birthdays, anniversaries to small dinner parties.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This platform is great!
Customers can be confident they are getting exactly what they need for their dream event. One booking that comes to mind recently was an enquiry from a wedding couple. they had booked a magician elsewhere and paid a deposit, only for him to become elusive nearing the big day. The couple contacted me because they were worried he would let them down on the day (he did). Using Add to Event we confirmed everything was set for me to attend. It was a lovely occasion all the family and friends were great characters, The laughter and applause was still ringing in my ears on my drive home. Next day I got an email saying how much everybody loved not only the magic and entertainment but me as a person and they were talking about it long after I left.
