It's important to hire a full time professional rather than a hobbyist a full-time professional is guaranteed to turn up as it is his or her main source of income, whereas a hobbyist may have to do overtime at his regular job or something else might come up and that will always take priority.
You should make sure you get the best entertainer your budget can afford, and hire someone that has great pictures. as the entertainment will be seen by all of your guests, and you want your event to be remembered for the right reasons

Becoming a full-time magician is a great talent and skill to have, being able to entertain and break the ice / make people smile and laugh is something I enjoy doing. as they say smile and the whole world smiles with you.
As you can see from some of my pictures of astonishment jaw dropping and laughter which becomes infections and creates a great atmosphere at the event.
