What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For me to provide a proper quote I would need to know the exact event date and time you would like the performance to start and end. I would also need a brief explanation of the type of event that is being hosted, how many guests will be there, where is the location taking place and if it is outdoors or indoors. I would also like to know if you are looking for walk about magic or a stage show? Or both? If the client is unsure I can always help and advise.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice would be to actually do some research on the performer and make sure they are a professional. Research could include their website and any online video of a bit of their performance so you can get a feel for the quality of the act.
Many people can make a snazzy looking website but sometimes it does not reflect their live performance quality. Looks can be deceiving.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I worked professionally as an actor since I was 11. When I was 25 I saw my first magician and I knew right then and there that I had to switch careers. This is not an easy task but the fact that I have been working professionally as a magician non stop I know I made the right decision. My magic skills have taken me on stages across the globe. I have also performed on numerous television programs in the UK, USA, Canada, Europe and more. I now run my own weekly venue in Bath called Krowd Keepers Magic Theatre.
