What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide a specific quote, we need to know the event date, a rough estimate of the number of guests, the area the event will be taking place in & whether we would need to provide our handmade wooden bar. A brief explanation of the type of event can also be useful. If reception drinks or a personalised menu is required, this would be necessary too.

When looking for a supplier of a service, it’s always good to shop around. Look for recommendations or reviews on other websites (Google, Facebook, Tripadvisor, etc). Word of mouth can be good, but it’s good to check other sites for honest customer reviews.

I have worked in hospitality all of my working life: hotels, pubs, restaurants to cocktail bars, wedding venues & even managing a resort in New Zealand.
The Wonder Bar was established on NYE 2015-16 at a 500 guest rave! From there, we have run the bar at weddings, festivals, corporate events & many a party. We also run Cocktail Workshops, wine, beer & gin tasting evenings, all in the comfort of your home (or any hired venue). We come to you equipped with everything you need for a hassle-free, high standard bar service. Our focus is on serving locally sourced products, delicious cocktails made from foraged & homemade ingredients & providing fun, friendly & professional staff.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We’ve had just 1 or 2 bookings through Add to Event, our clients usually choosing to come to us direct. Add to Event is great for those looking to book an event, although as a supplier, the competition can sometimes be fierce, especially with a lack of reviews but we have some great testimonials on lots of other sites. I recommend it as we get lots of requests through the site.
