What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, ideally we need the event date, a brief explanation of the type of event they are hosting, the estimated number of guests, and a potential venue, whether it's an indoor or outdoor event. From this, we can use our experience and expertise to put together a suitable equipment list and design.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
You need to be sure that the provider is properly insured and carries PAT certification. You may want to inquire about the equipment they use as there is a huge variance which can affect the quality of service (both lights and sound). If they are a quality provider you need to see images of their setup.

Music Event Solutions was created as a quality Disco/DJ provider in a sector that is notorious for cowboys and cheesy providers. We only provide a quality service from booking to final delivery. We use the best people and equipment combined with a professional and quality service to ensure our client's expectations are exceeded.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We've seen some excellent clients through Add to Event.
