What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Most importantly, I would require the date of the event so that I can check availability, the venue address to check distance and the time of the event. After that, I would ask for the type of event and number of guests attending. Last thing to talk about is music and equipment.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure that you ask about what insurance they have and if their equipment has been through a PAT test. Ask what equipment will be used. Ask for pictures and videos. Check social media profiles for reviews.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I used to run my own online radio and it was incredibly successful. I moved to the UK and gave up on it, focusing more on playing online for my friends. One day my wife noticed an advert from a local mobile DJ agency, about a DJ position, and I went the next day to meet the owner. This is how it all started! After one year, I decided to setup my own business.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I think that this platform is great and it is easy to contact customers. As I'm quite new to the site, I have yet to get any bookings. I would recommend it to others.
