Boogey Nights Discos has over 25 years of experience in mobile discos, party nights and entertainment. They can happily host any event including: weddings, birthdays, anniversary celebrations, family parties, quiz nights, fundraising events and corporate events.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
I started doing mobile discos In 1998 working at the biggest holiday parks and social clubs throughout Scotland, England and Wales.
I am currently based just outside Glasgow and can cater to any event from smaller halls with under 50 to the largest of venues with hundreds of people. I'm equally as comfortable at a 16th or 18th as I am at an 80th or Golden Wedding Anniversary.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would personally try and make sure you're getting someone experienced who will interact with the crowd on the night and work hard to make sure you get a good night.
The last thing you want is the guy who's happy to lazily stand by a laptop with an automatic playlist for music doing very little but waiting to collect the money.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started the business as I had a passion for playing the right music at the right times throughout the night and loved the feeling of having a full dancefloor.
I saw a niche in the market for someone to do mobile party nights where I do a little bit more than just stand and play music, so it's much more of a party night, rather than just a disco.
