What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
We really want our customers to have the best event experience therefore it's important for us to have the correct information to ensure everything goes to plan. To quote we need the date, timings, where it will be held (postcode), type of venue, indoors or out, if there is any theme and something we forget is the budget. We can plan anything so working within a customer's budget is vital.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking to hire an event company you need to know you can rely on them. Make sure they are a registered company, they have insurance and are experienced at what they do. Reviews are also a great way to know you can have confidence in this company
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I'm a fun-loving dreamer that took over Xcentric Events about 6 years ago, expanding their niche products they currently had and turned them into something special and bespoke. We love to have fun coming up with new ideas working on big events but are just as happy to work on small events as well. We follow the three Ps Passion, Pride and Planning. These ensure our staff love working with us and our customer has a great event.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
So I have always been a little sceptical about broker sites but Add to Event proved me wrong! You get the customer information to view first and only pay if you want to quote. We have been chosen for a variety of jobs (snow, foam and rodeo bull) from this platform but recently won a job to find out the customer was an event planner so now we are working together on future projects. I have recommended Add to Event to others in the event industry but also for people looking for quotes.
