Pizza of Dreams provide mobile, artisan, wood fired pizza throughout Northamptonshire and beyond. Their renovated Citroen HY van holds a wood fired clay oven which can produce high quality, traditional pizza in under 90 seconds - even though it is made from fresh, handmade pizza dough which is freshly prepared right in front of the hungry event guests.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote we need to know the date and time, the exact location of the venue along with access details as we tow a vehicle on to site. We also need access to power and water. We need to know the number of guests and an indication of any special dietary needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider what style of Pizza and what size of Pizza they are offering as this makes a world of difference to the flavour of the product produced. How many Pizzas an hour can they produce as it is no good if you have 120 guests if only two people turn up to make their Pizzas - it will take them hours! Do they have flexible methods of working to suit your event needs? Some people want their guests to experience the theatre of watching their Pizza being made while they wait, others want a more formal experience and want serving, the cost of both types are different as one is more labour intensive.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Pizza of Dreams was born as a family business in 2011. Having spent my entire working life in Blue Chip Companies I decide that my last career change would be to do something that I loved and was for me and my family. Having a love of good food and particularly enjoying superb and ground-breaking streetfood, I wanted to offer great quality street food in an unusual and innovative way. We converted a vintage Horsebox to take a wood fired oven first and then bought a classic Citroen HY Van that had been used as a market van in France. A full restoration and conversion was undertaken and we added the Citroen to our offering. Year on year we continue to develop our systems and offerings with the focus on delivering a great experience and more importantly consistently fantastic food to our customers. Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

We have only recently signed up to Add to Events and are yet to actually cater our first event. In our first few months with Add to Event we have received lots of enquiries and our first bookings are due to be carried out this Spring.
