What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

In order for us to provide a quote, we would ideally need the date of the event, approximate number of attendees or guests and a brief description of what type of event it is. From this, we can use our experience and knowledge to build up a quote including catering, equipment and staffing.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, always ask what product they are offering and ask about their previous work. It's always good to get previous customers' opinions and it's always beneficial to see images and even previous menus. If you would like to organise a tasting, let the provider know or perhaps visit an event they are catering for in the future.

Seasons Pantry began after working in top London venues for 7 years, catering and planning some of the largest events the city has to offer, alongside catering for pop-ups, dinner parties and corporate entertaining. With a passion for event management and a true lover of all things food, I decided to take my knowledge and create Seasons Pantry.
