Cherry Tree Parties provide venue styling for any event, from small family parties to large corporate events. It's a real family business and they take great care with every booking. They share some top tips for event organisers below.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote we need to know the postcode, length of time you require the service you are hiring, and an estimate of guest numbers we would be catering for.
Also, if there are special requirements i.e vegan chocolate for fountains or colour theme for room decor that would be appreciated
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Please check your suppliers feedback on other sites i.e on their websites, Facebook business accounts or Google reviews (not all suppliers have these but there will always be reviews somewhere for you to check.
Also, note whether their photos are of their own work or google stock photos
Ask questions, your supplier should be happy to answer any questions you have and should be willing to meet you either at your venue or their place of business whether it be home or shop.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
Cherry Tree Parties was born around 5-6 years ago. I used to make wedding garters and wedding ring pillows, a friend asked us to help dress a few venues for weddings as she was retiring that year, we loved the work and as my partner is handy with a saw and screwdriver we decided to build a candy cart and wishing well to hire, and so our business was born and has developed into a lovely family concern.
We have a passion for our work and put 110% into everything we do

We had a booking for the chocolate fountain, candy floss and room decor items, the client told me she chose our company because we had a good rapport on the phone during her request, the evening went really well and the client was happy with our work, her guests were so pleasant and well mannered too
