What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide an accurate quote to a customer, ideally we need the umber of guests, the event date, an explanation of the event and what type of food is preferred as well as any dietary requirements or allergies. It would also be useful to know whether the venue has a kitchen or power supplies and is indoor or outdoor.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
First and foremost, ask the provider if they can cater for your requirements. Whether it be a specific type of cuisine that you love or a budget that you have to stick to.
It’s also useful to note the efficiency of the provider providing quick and detailed responses to your questions, whilst being polite at the same time.
Get to know your provider - after all, they’ll either be cooking your food or at your event!

TrebleStef was built on the foundations of a passion for baking and cooking food that people love, whilst making them feel good too!
Food is such an important part of socialising and can often make or break an event.
When I think back to my best childhood memories, I can almost always remember what we were eating/ had eaten before the memory!
Our aim is to cater for every event as if it was our own, meaning that we don’t cut corners in any areas. Whether it be sourcing the finest local ingredients or spending hours trialling recipes until they’re absolutely perfect.

Hmmm Well… let’s see.. that’s a tough one!
If I had to choose one it would have to be a fundraising event we catered for to help renovate a local church.
Not only was it a beautiful location, but the feedback from customers was so heartwarming as they came back not only for seconds but thirds! Claiming they’d ‘never tasted cake as good as this’ as they walked off with a box full of cakes for their family and friends to share!
It was so lovely to see a community come together to support something that clearly meant a lot to all of them.
Despite the sweltering heat of the kitchens whilst making the cakes, we soldiered on through knowing what a brilliant cause it was going to! And boy are we glad we did as everything was sold out within 2 hours!!
