What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide you with a quote ideally I would require when you would like the photography to start from ie:-
Bridal Prep, Arrival of Groom/guests.
How long you require me for which may be up to the venue, up to speeches, or maybe longer up to your 1st dance.
As I am Yorkshire based I would also require the locations of Bridal prep, ceremony, and venue.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly make sure the Photographer has insurance and has equipment backed up.
Ask how many photos you may expect from the wedding photography and how long post-wedding before the photos will be delivered to you, have these photos any copyrights or will you be free to download/print yourself instead of using the photographers printing service.
Always meet up with your photographer to discuss your big day, you require the photography coverage how YOU BOTH want it covering not as the photographer says he/she will cover it.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started up from an early age maybe around 10/11 as my mother worked for a photographic company in the labs so I was given a camera and numerous rolls of film and have not stopped taking pictures since, I started in wedding photography after I had been asked by a family member who had been let down and just loved it, there is something about weddings that I love so much and every wedding that I attend even now all these years later makes me smile and can't believe it's my job

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have been lucky to have been booked through Add to Event on a few occasions covering weddings and family events, it is still growing and although I don't receive the majority of my work through here I have in the past passed on this site to a couple of photographers in other locations to try it.
