About Off The Record Disco
For your event, how important is the music? Would you like your guests to remember a good night or a great night? One way to create a memorable night is to create good atmosphere and this is where I can help. With just over 40 years experience and thousands of weddings, birthday parties and corporate events under my belt, I am in a position to help you make your special event a success. I provide the music that encourages people to dance, at a volume that is suitable for all. I welcome input from yourselves and your guests, by way of music choices, and play the right music in the right order, using my experience to work out what feels right for the night. I supply clear-sounding music from a professional sound system and my lighting is tailored to your individual tastes, ranging from tasteful, discreet lighting to full on nightclub-style laser based lighting.
I always carry backup equipment of the essential items as all electrical items can fail at some point. So if you are in need of a friendly, organised, experienced, professional DJ - please get in touch.

I am equally at home entertaining at corporate events as I am the most demanding Bride and Groom. I have a residency in a major hotel and also a casino and I am the recommended DJ for three golf clubs for their functions and three wedding venues.

We had a the Best Night. DJ Jerry read the dance floor and it was full all night. He keep 25 nurses happy and under control which is no mean feat. We didn’t want the night to end He even managed to get friends on the dance floor that I had never seen have a boogie before He played the perfect playlist which catered to all ages and all genres. His lighting was great which provided the perfect dance area. Jerry was professional and friendly from first contact even met us personally before the day. The online requests and playlist planner was fantastic. We would highly recommend DJ Jerry. Fantastic value and a fantastic service.

DJ Jerry was incredible!
Matt and I booked DJ Jerry for our wedding and we couldn't recommend him enough. We booked him pre-pandemic and he was great at responding to emails and always reassured us despite the booking being delayed by over a year! He met with us a few months before the event and was warm and friendly and his selection of music was fabulous.
At the wedding he played an exceptional playlist that had everyone on the dance floor. He interacted with our guests and was happy to take requests - he was even on the dancefloor with us at times! (We were even asked if he was a family friend). All of my guests adored him and he massively contributed to making our day the best it could have been.

Professional Fantastic Service
Extremely happy with the DJ service Jerry from Offtherecord provided - 5 stars - Can not fault.
Communications to start with was excellent, the online 'Plan My Event' to select the tunes for the night was easy to use. On the night Jerry arrived over 1 hour before the event start time to set up his equipment, lights and speakers. Jerry throughout the night was accommodating and engaging with my party for music requests.
Would definitely use again for future events.

Jerry DJ'ed our wedding last month and was absolutely fantastic in every way. He met up with us beforehand to chat through the day, visited the venue in advance to make sure his equipment would be suitable, decorated his booth to match the decor of the room and was friendly and professional throughout!
We've had many compliments on the music since with most saying they have never seen so many people on the dancefloor.
