On the day itself, I hit the ground running. First stop? Meeting your key venue and planning team to make sure everything is on point. Then, my priority is you. Because let’s face it—stressed couples don’t make great photos. I’ll check in, help calm any nerves, and ensure you’re relaxed and ready to soak up the best day of your life.

While we’ll have a plan, I always leave room for spontaneity. The unexpected moments, the laughter, the happy tears, the wild dance moves… these are what make your story unique. My approach is simple: your wedding day isn’t a photoshoot; it’s your celebration. I’m there to capture you living it, not pull you away from it.

Oh, and when I say I’m more than just your photographer, I mean it. Call me your professional bridesmaid (with a beard). I’ve seen it all, and I’ve got your back—whether you’re feeling butterflies, over-the-moon excitement, or a little nervous energy. Whatever the vibe, I’m there to keep things flowing and make sure the next part of your day is unforgettable.

Once the formalities are done and the shoot list is looking good, chances are we are heading to a dancefloor and thats where you’ll find me… I’m dancing with a camera in hand and working my moves to get into great positions to and capture the energy.

90% of my clients are not comfortable in front of the camera... that goes go away very quickly with my natural and fun approach but knowing what works early on means we can relax and that's when the natural photos happen easily (which in my opinion is the best photos!).
My clients usually have a strong friendship group and unique family bonds which make capturing their celebrations in my documentary approach particularly important.

Steve and Hannah were fabulous to work with.

Steve and Hannah braved the arctic weather conditions (inside and out of the venue) to put the Bride & Groom abd Bridal party at ease. They made this side of the wedding fun for all involved and produced some fantastic post wedding insta reels the very next day. I would highly recommend Steve as a photographer for any event.
