High on the Hog is an experienced outside event catering company established in 2017 and based in Gloucestershire that you can trust to provide a professional service for your guests. We pride ourselves on meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations, and we are always willing to go that extra mile to make your event a success.
We always try to source as many products locally as possible and most of our dishes including desserts are produced in house.
We offer a wide range of services from simple and substantial hot and cold buffets, spit roasts, BBQs, and sit down meals as well as bars and drinks services.
We are always very pleased to discuss your requirements with you to ensure your event works for you.

Couldn’t wish for better
Amazing food, great service despite them freezing to death outside to provide it for us. Super smiley. Nothing was too much. So much food to go around. Amazing value for money. Highly recommend to everyone!
Colin and his team were excellent
Colin and his team were excellent in providing the food for my 40th birthday party and the whole experience was completely stress free for myself. The team at High on The Hog were courteous throughout everything from the initial quote all the way through to the event and I can't recommend Coin and the team enough. If anybody is considering a Hog Roast then look no further than Colin and High on The Hog.

The chaps from High on the Hog turned up on time and provided a quality BBQ for our charity event. The meat was top quality and we had no complaints from satisfied customers. They even found us a couple of raffle prizes for the day to help the cause. We will most definitely use them again. 5 star!
Great service and people, good food, solid option!
We received great service and communication from High on the Hog. They were on time and friendly. Had all the equipment and utensils, and also cleared up afterwards. The food was good and on time. Some of our guests commented that it was one of the best hog roasts they have had. Their estimations of quantities were accurate. The stuffing and side salad options were fine but less impressive.

Easy guys to have around. Got on with their cooking and service in a lovely manner, served on time in spite of 20 min downpour. Packed up and left discreetly, leaving us all the remaining food. Compostable plates and cutlery.... no plastic

I really can't fault the service we received from High on The Hog. Ned was extremely quick to respond to our questions before the event, in fact the communication and advice we received before the event was superb and greatly appreciated as we had never held a Hog Roast before. The advice we received about quantities and various other options was excellent.
During the event itself, the service provided was both discrete and of a very high standard and most importantly, the food was superb.

Thanks to the guys for doing the hog roast for our family fun day in Mells. The food was amazing, the service was brilliant and they were very accommodating. The bar was provided as well. Definitely worth it :-)
Professional, good advice.
A good event. Very cheep and tasty pig. Instructions were simple and even though we did some minor damage the company was very reasonable.
