High on the Hog is an experienced outside event catering company established in 2017 and based in Gloucestershire that you can trust to provide a professional service for your guests. We pride ourselves on meeting and exceeding our customer’s expectations, and we are always willing to go that extra mile to make your event a success.
We always try to source as many products locally as possible and most of our dishes including desserts are produced in house.
We offer a wide range of services from simple and substantial hot and cold buffets, spit roasts, BBQs, and sit down meals as well as bars and drinks services.
We are always very pleased to discuss your requirements with you to ensure your event works for you.

Great service from High On The Hog and lovely food enjoyed by all at our birthday party/mini music festival in aid of Parkinsons UK. Travelled from Gloustershire to Warwickshire and didn’t charge for travel as a charity event. Easy to deal with and reliable. . Gave us a very reasonable price and food was excellent.

Delicious hog roast
The hog roast was cooked beautifully- everyone said how delicious and tender it was.
Colin was so helpful throughout the booking and provided an excellent cook on the day. He was exceptionally helpful in considering the gluten free needs of one of our guests.
We will definitely consider using High On The Hog again.

Fantastic service
Colin, Ned, Nick and the rest of the team were brilliant!! Storm Hannah hit us the night before the wedding and despite the extremely difficult conditions and need to change plans for cooking and service, Colin and Co produced a hot great buffet with all the trimmings and the whole service was very well received by us and our guests.
The planning stages were very thorough and nothing was too much trouble (or so it seemed :-) )
I would thoroughly recommend Colin and High on the Hog and we would certainly invite them again for any future event.
