I’m an award-winning international event photographer with a real passion for capturing weddings and those unforgettable, in-between moments that tell the bigger story. My love for photography started back at school, when I was lucky enough to photograph Prince Charles, now King, an experience that completely hooked me on the power of storytelling through a lens. ​ Many of my weekends growing up were spent watching my father work in the darkroom and that hands-on exposure to the craft gave me a deep respect for photography as an art form. Long before digital and instant previews, I learned the value of patience, timing and getting it right in camera; lessons that still shape the way I photograph today. ​​​​​​​ I work primarily with the latest full-frame and medium format digital cameras, creating striking imagery for everything from events to celebrity portraits. When I’m commissioned by publications, I also love returning to my roots and shooting on traditional analog film; there’s something special about slowing things down and working in a more considered way. I split my time between Hampshire in the UK and West Palm Beach, Florida, which keeps life (and work) nicely varied. ​ I’m always drawn to spontaneous, candid moments; the ones that reveal real personality and genuine emotion. My documentary approach allows me to tell honest stories with depth, rather than forcing anything to feel staged or overly polished.
