Platinum Discos provides a premium mobile DJ service throughout Scotland for clients who want the best.

We use top of the range equipment and all our DJs are 100% reliable! We use top of the range sound and lighting equipment for its reliability, effectiveness and clarity.

All our DJs accept playlists and play requests on the night.

Fabulous Evening Entertainment

Platinum discos played at my best friends family farm for a large group of ladies celebrating a hen party. They were fantastic from start to finish and I can’t recommend them enough. Ashley’s communication was outstanding and DJ Murray, who played for us on the night couldn’t have been nicer! They weren’t the cheapest quotes we had but the equipment and set up was really good quality and well worth it. You made our night - thank you!!

Perfect DJ

Book this DJ for my prom am I was over the moon with the service. Played music over dinner then after it was finished he got all 125 people on the dance floor jumping about. Such a crowd pleaser with a mix of music to keep everyone happy. Thank you Ashley!

DJ was good

Asked DJ to play appropriate music for children, i.e. no swearing which was agreed in advance of the night. On the night the music became very inappropriate and included swearing which we received complaints about from parents and coaches. Asked him to stop playing these songs which he did.

Lights were great for the event.

Hi Lindsay, I’ve just spoken with Dougie the Dj and he assured me only radio edits were played and there was no swearing in the songs which is what I would do. We usually have radio edits (clean versions) of the popular songs that kids ask for these days. Often these will only bleep out the offending word which is what you'll hear on the radio too. Unfortunately these days kids are into all the songs with swear words in them which makes it a nightmare for us Djs having to check every song to make sure it's a clean version as from time to time songs are mis labelled. Dougie assures me that only clean versions were played on the night. All my Djs and myself only play clean versions whether it’s adults or children we’re entertaining.
