We hired Steve to DJ for our Sergeants Mess summer function. It was a retro disco (80s & 90s) theme so the music Steve played was absolutely perfect and got everyone on the dance floor throughout the night. He provided the lights which really helped set the mood. He provided a fantastic service, we were able to contact before hand to talk about what songs we wanted, he was happy to take requests before and on the night. Great value for money and most definitely would hire again and recommend to other regiments on and around other Garrisons. On behalf of the Mess, Thank you Steve for making our night a complete success!!!! 10/10 5 stars!!!! Awesome!!!

Steve played music during our wedding breakfast & then through the evening. Music was great & people were up dancing all night. Nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend to anyone

Retro DJ provided a great service, was very communicative along the process and we had the best disco ever, along with receiving many compliments from all of our guests for the good music played.

We hired Steve for our wedding on 13th April and he was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we were in touch nothing was too much, from the zoom meeting, a million emails and questions from us and catering to all our rowdy guests on the day. We had told Steve the kind of music we liked and disliked which he stuck to it throughout the evening; we were also able to give him a list of songs we really wanted played and he made sure every single one was. When we couldn't decide on a last song (at the very last minute!) he played both we had mentioned <3 and all requests from our guests were played.

From the start when we contacted Steve everything was so easy and straightforward and he made the whole process completely stress free! He was absolutely fantastic and we couldn't be happier with how the night went. His music choice was perfect and he really listened and to our favourite genres and we honestly couldn't have asked for it to go any better. Fantastic evening for a 30th birthday party. Steve was brilliant from day one. The playlist was personalised according to the theme and all the tracks that I requested were played throughout the evening. The dancefloor was busy for the duration of the evening. Communication was great and no request turned down. The sound quality and lighting was brilliant. The addition of karaoke to the evening went down well with the guests and Steve made sure all requests were accommodated. Nothing seemed too much trouble. The evening was a success and the guests commended the DJ for a fantastic night. Would recommend to anybody for any party.

Steve was in constant contact before our event to ensure he had all relevant information, names of family, songs we specifically wanted and songs we didn’t. He also suggested the ‘shoe game’ as it was a 50th birthday/surprise wedding, this is a must. You won’t go wrong with hiring Steve, a lovely man, knows his stuff and also donated to our charity. After an initial post, calling for requirement for DJ, retro DJ came answering and offered his services to our event. Initial communication was outstanding with a virtual teams call to discuss my requirements and offer the opportunity to assure any of my issues. After that we stayed in regular contact ahead of the event. The night itself was a huge success thanks to Retro DJ who kept the dance floor full all night long. I would 100% recommend him to anyone and look to hopefully use him again in the future.
