We proudly boast that we offer some amazing light shows. You only need to view our guest book and testimonials tab on our website to see why we are now one of the largest and best DJ services covering the south of England.
We have been nominated as wedding DJ of the year for 4 years running.
We have an extensive music database covering any genre of music and are members of NADJ (National Association of DJ’s) AMPDJ (Alliance of Mobile & Party DJ’s) and the WDJA (Wedding DJ Alliance. We are also enhanced DBS approved).

Fantastic DJ
Retro DJ was brilliant from start to finish. Communication was great and so accommodating for our event. On the night everyone had an amazing time and enjoyed dancing the night away.
Great evening
Steve of Retro DJ provided just the right blend of music for our event with the ABBA medley a particular hit! He included the 10 tracks that we had specifically chosen and had everything set up and ready to go after the meal had finished. It helped to round off the evening perfectly and would certainly recommend. Our party was comprised of primarily the 50+ age group but staff at the venue (who were considerably younger than us!) also commented on how much they enjoyed the music selection and the atmosphere Steve created.
A fun night had by all!
Great communication before the day and Steve went the extra mile for last minute requests before the event. Lots of dancing and a great night.
Golden Wedding Music Disaster 2 September 2022
DJ Steve let us down badly for our 50th Anniversary. Instead of playing our provided request lists he plugged in a USB we had loaned him for the Soul Music he didn't have and let it run.
We had spent months choosing songs from the 60s & 70s to be played during the meal, none were played. 5 times we asked him to stop playing obscure music to the empty dance floor & play the agreed disco music but he kept on with the USB. He'd promised to keep the dance floor full but didn't, asked the dress code (formal) & wore a flowery beach shirt, he did keep his plate full all night & went to smoke. It was late before he finally played our Soul. music & we all danced. We would not recommend Retro for any party he spoilt ours & we're SO Disappointed
