About Ten Forward Events
We’re a family-run events company offering rustic bar hire and event planning across the U.K. Basically, we’re here to keep things running smoothly, the drinks flowing, and stop you from spending your day doing supplier admin.
||BAR HIRE FOR WEDDINGS & EVENTS||
We provide a converted horsebox bar for outdoor events and pallet bars for indoor venues. You can have one or both depending on your setup. We’re very used to fields, barns, marquees, and the classic “we’ll decide where the bar goes when everyone arrives” approach.
We serve everything from lager and wine to cocktails and warm drinks for when the British weather shows up uninvited and overstays its welcome. Our cocktail menu is a guest favourite (and occasionally the reason people stay longer than planned).
We have professional staff, flexible setups, fair pricing, and we can also sort your Temporary Event Notice so you don’t have to decode council paperwork.
||WEDDING & EVENT PLANNING||
We offer on-the-day coordination, partial planning, and full planning.
On-the-day is for when you’ve planned it all and just want someone calm and slightly bossy (in a helpful way) to run it. Partial is for when you’ve started planning and suddenly realised there are a LOT of decisions left. Full planning is for when you’d rather hand it over and just show up.
Led by Ella, who has 15+ years of venue management experience, we know how events actually run behind the scenes, and how to quietly fix things before anyone notices.

Excellent service for a great event!
From the initial communication from obtaining quote to attending the event, I was really pleased with all aspects of the service. Ella was great to communicate with and help discuss the options for planning and the different aspects of our event.
Nothing was too much trouble and Ella and Russell and they were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend!

We hired the Bird and Bee as a pop up bar to support our recent wedding celebrations. Ella and her team provided great service on the day, they were friendly and professional and more than happy to talk through details and we had great communication prior to the event. Guests commented on the reasonable prices of the drinks and how great the cocktails they had ordered were. Would be more than happy to recommend to others, or hire again in the future if we need something similar again!
Ella was very honest and open about one or two of our guests who had asked about providing their own alcohol (which is understandably not allowed) which we really appreciated.

Very good service
Great communication before and after the event. The staff were very nice and friendly to our guests and service was prompt and efficient. The only complaint I would make was the price of the coke, there were a lot of ids there and the bar charged £2.50 for a small cup of coke poured from a large bottle that you can buy for £1 at the supermarket, we all wanted them to make good money but that would work out at about £25 profit on a bottle and seemed unfair to us.
That aside, I would absolutely recommend the Bird and Bee service, perhaps you could negotiate on kids drinks with them to get it 100% perfect for your event

Ella contacted me from Add To Event, from the get go, she was fantastic, gave me all the information I needed, answered my numerous questions! On the run up to the event she kept in touch and even kept an eye on the weather and offered us the pallet bar instead of the horsebox - luckily the weather held up and the horsebox was everything I could have wished for - it looked great! Lots of comments on the selection of drinks and the reasonable prices, the staff were great. Nice email after the event also. I highly recommend The Bird and Bee, they really are all for the customer and not the money and business. It was a pleasure to have them apart of our big day! Take me back! A big thank you to all involved!
