Introducing The Striped Pig Hog Roast; we believe we offer an unparalleled package to make your event truly memorable. Yes, don’t be deceived by the name, for us it is far more than simply pork in a bun, we use the very best Gloucester old spot pork reared locally in Lancashire - we roast the Hog slowly producing perfect pulled pork - the best you will have ever taste! Our unique cooking style produces exceptional crackling and this coupled with our own in house chutneys, sauces and stuffing’s (all jarred and available for purchase) results in the ultimate Hog Roasting Experience. We also roast whole lambs, and, sirloins, topsides, ribs and shin of Angus beef, matured for 28 days on the bone by our house butcher and of course the renowned Goosnargh Chicken, Duck, can be spit roasted for your event as well.
Alongside the rainproof service unit, food ordered and trained chef we provide disposable plates, napkins and cutlery. This is our art form – if you require a Hog roast we provide exceptional quality at value for money prices. The Striped Pig is the Company for you.

Amazing food, brilliant service, excellent value
We hired The Striped Pig for our son’s engagement party. Paul was prompt, polite, friendly and quick at serving over 150 guests. We had vegetarians, vegans and gluten free guests, all of whom were amply catered for.
From the initial contact, through to paying the bill, the team were responsive and efficient.
We had considered all types of catering but we’re so pleased we went with a hog roast. The guests loved the food and there was even some left for guests to take home.

Absolutely fantastic, great communication, great service, fabulous food and a great serving station. Chris was our chef, and he was lovely, good fun, knew what he was doing and very professional with no stress whatsoever. The food was faultless - we had menu 2 and the meat, vegetarian and vegan options were amazing, and all served piping hot. We ordered for 80 and everyone left very satisfied with some to spare. I would recommend this company 100 percent.

Fantastic Party
Unfortunately I can’t remember our Chef’s name but I want to pass on our thanks for his very friendly and professional service. From his arrival he showed an interest in the event and checked regularly that everything was as we wanted. He even remained upbeat when clearing up in a torrential downpour!
Great service, delicious food
The striped pig have been helpful and accomadating right from my intial enquiry. They talked through my requirements and adjusted the menus according to what I wanted.
They made sure that everything was correct prior to my event and were punctual on the day with everything set up in plenty of time.
The food station looked great and was presented in a professional manner with everything provided.
The chef was polite and friendly and happy to do what ever was necessary to make the party food a success.

Great food and service

Brilliant Hog Roast
The service was great from start to finish. A really well organised company who are a pleasure to deal with. I can’t recommend them enough, they are fab. Food was delicious and we even had rave reviews on the veggie option! Everyone went up for seconds and thirds - it just absolutely made our party! Thanks to John and the team. :)
