About House of Hog
The family farm was started by Mike Bradshaw's grandfather John in 1963 and then taken over by Mikes father Tim who still runs the impressive operation on a day to day basis. After going to university and then working alongside his dad Mike decided to launch Yorkshire Hog Roast which he now runs with partner Jo under the name House of Hog. Having never roasted a pig before Mike set about learning everything there was to know and before long the bookings came rolling in. The reputation for the standard of food and service he and his team delivered quickly spread and now we run five hog roast machines and cater for events across the Yorkshire region and beyond. Before long the company grew to incorporate other catering services from hot or cold buffets to full three course meals all created using locally sourced ingredients of exceptional quality. Mike believes it is a combination of the excellent quality of the pigs, which he only ever takes from the family stock, and the unique blend of seasonings which make the House of Hog hog roast truly irresistible.
