About Kay's Kitchen
Our first few events were pop ups during the Summer of 2014 offering a up a wide variety of foods. From molton cheddar croquettes, pinchos tapas with Sobrasada, chorizo tortilla, asparagus with alioli, harissa & paprika spiced pork burgers with roasted pepper relish, aduki bean burgers, salads, to our unctuous desserts raspberry creme brûlée & Seville orange almond cake.
September 2014 saw the start of our adventures with 'Judy' the Citroen HY van, fully fitted with kitchen to serve our street food.
We cater for events of 30 people upwards.

We hired Kay to come and provide breakfast for our guests following a camping party. She arrived at 08:00 on Sunday morning as requested and worked tirelessly for a couple of hours cooking bespoke breakfast butties for nearly 70 children and adults (Vegetarians among them). The food was delicious as were the coffees and teas. We had positive feedback from all our guests. Kay and her helper were friendly and relaxed. Her van is lovely, a real feature of the experience. It was impressive how much food could come out of it too. It was a pleasure to have them as part of our event. They set the seal on a wonderful weekend.
This was organised at short notice but all went very smoothly thanks to Kay's great service and organisation. The staff were punctual, polite and efficient and we were happy in the knowledge that our customers were being looked after.
