What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to the supplier we would need the type of event, location and amount of attendees.
The more information that can be provided about the event the easier it will be to give a quote.
We can then check the diary for our availability.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Most importantly all people providing any form of animal experience must have a licence from their local council so this is the first thing to check!
I would also be asking how much handling is involved in the session as some people limit the number of people that can handle the animals.
Also, make sure you know what animals will be attending.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started Animal Encounters over 10 years ago after working for animals for a long time.
I had been teaching animal care at a local college for a few years and loved getting people into different animals.
I wanted to show younger people that animals could be fun and nothing to be scared of!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have only had one booking from Add To Event so far.
This booking will be happening in a few weeks.
I am really looking forward to it!
