What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

The essentials needed for me are a date, venue, type of party/music & timings, from that information I can gauge availability, length of time required, a rough idea of music & what equipment I need, after that the finer details can be put in place to tailor the night as required.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

For me I like a bit of passion to come across, I love what I do and don't see it as a job, so read our profiles, ask us questions and hopefully you'll get a good feeling about someone, most importantly don't let yourself get ripped off, it shouldn't cost silly money.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I've been a DJ for around 30 years and learnt on vinyl in the early years of dance music 88-96, I played at clubs & raves around the south-east of England, music has always been my passion and more recently I had done a few parties for family and friends which went down really well and loved doing them so decided to set myself up as a mobile DJ.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have only just joined Add to Event in the last month but have been really surprised at how many events pop up on my feed, I have managed to bag myself 2 parties so far & both are in September, I have already recommended Add to Event to party organisers who I've been unable to help, great service :o)
