What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To provide an accurate quote, we require the date of the event, how many people are attending and any special requirements. We like to send the customer a message and follow it up with a no-obligation phone call to fully understand their requirements. We are on hand all day and have WhatsApp for people to contact us in the evening if they aren't free during the day. We also do a free service where we meet with the customer to build a stronger relationship up and put any doubts out of their minds. Customer service is very important to us, if you can't tell!

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would advise a customer to ask for as much information as they can and ask them to look at reviews. Ask a potential provider to see pictures of work that has been done. Ask about equipment and make sure they have everything to provide you with a fully covered event.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I started my business after not coming out of school with any real qualifications. I wanted to prove that I could still make something of myself so I started out with a bouncy castle and have grown the business to the point where we hire out over 50 bouncy castles. I have since decided to go into other things as well, especially since most people like to order from one supplier, so now we do everything for parties, events and weddings. I wanted to create a business that was fair to everyone and is customer-minded, which I am very passionate about.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Where to start! I came across this website by accident and decided to give it a go. I have been with another site which didn't get much for me but with Add to Event they have every option separate, which is great. I have been on here for 2 weeks now and have 2 confirmed bookings, with 2 more potential ones in the works (fingers crossed!). Everyone I have spoken to has been positive and I will continue to use this site to build my business. I will also recommend this site to people I encounter on my travels as well!
