What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Sometimes I have come across requests that just say 1 day rather than hours but then don't give start and finish times. I can only trade outdoors so therefore it is import to know this in advance along with if there is room for a gazebo. Power makes a big difference especially if it's an all day event, knowing this in advance would make a difference to the quote.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Where the coffee beans come from and the quality of them and why there are important. I would also suggest they check PLI insurance, any training or certificates they have including hygiene etc.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I have worked in an office environment for nearly 20 years and reached a certain age where I cold release funding from my pension. I saw a Coffee bar about 4 years ago at a car boot and was impressed that I could finally get a decent cup of coffee without compromise and at a car boot of all places. I said there and then that this is what I wanted to do and here I am almost in my first completed year of trading and love my new lease of life and job.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had one booking with yourselves and had a very good experience, the customer was very pleasant and everyone was happy with my services. I have asked on a couple of occasions for them to give me a review and hopefully this will happen soon.
