I'm a Mobile DJ based in the Merseyside area but will work throughout Merseyside, Wigan and Leigh. We do all types of parties, for example, kids birthdays, weddings and much more.
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
All occasions have a set price and minus twenty pounds deposit.
I need to know if the party is happening in the afternoon or evening and also the type of event (christening, communion, birthday etc). I can also provide games and prizes for kids and adults parties.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise customers to book a mobile disco with experience (we have 20 years experience!) and ensure they're reasonable, reliable and professional. Always pay a deposit for your peace of mind and ask if suppliers take requests and/or a playlist.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
I started the business back in 1995 so have 25 years experience. I enjoy working at all kinds of parties and events and love seeing people enjoy themselves.
A full dancefloor is a must once the buffet has been eaten!

"Sexton Disco Karaoke provided it all. From dance floor classics the whole family could join in, to special request which ranged from the 60s to date. I can honestly say that the entire room came alive and everyone took a turn on the dance floor. The added bonus was the karaoke towards the end of the night, lots of drunken antics but very funny. A massive thanks to Jim and Fiona for making our daughters 18th extremely memorable. She loved the music and was rarely off the dance floor with her friends and family. The singing of Stevie Wonders 'Happy Birthday' was her highlight, when everybody joined in to wish her a happy birthday as she cut her cake. A very memorable night. I would Highly recommend Sextons Disco Karaoke. Fabulous!"
