What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

To enable me to provide you with a comprehensive and accurate quote, we will need your event date, event duration, event location, estimated number of guests and a brief explanation as to the type of event you're planning.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, is your potential DJ relevant to your event and does their style of DJing compliment what you're trying to achieve? What is their experience in delivering at events like yours and can they give you some examples of similar events they've worked? And finally, ask if you can hear some examples of their pre-recorded mixes? After all, a DJ should be able to provide you with a seamless flow of music - it's worth checking they have the skill to deliver.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

My business is a direct result of my passion for music & entertainment. After spending most of the 90's practicing the art and experiencing clubs across the UK, I started to understand the music, learning how to read the crowd and how to formulate my own sets. Since taking on my first event back in 1999, there's been no looking back.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

My most memorable booking I've had through Add to Event has to be my first. I had the privilege of being part of the 150th anniversary of a Bradford-based company. I provided the soundtrack and hosted this outdoor event which saw a large sum being raised for charity. Around 350 people attended and the day was marked as a huge success by everyone involved.
