What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide the most accurate quote possible we would need to know the date of the event, estimated number of guests, the venue and what kitchen facilities if any the venue has.
From this we can use our many years of experience and expertise to create a bespoke menu for you.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask the provider about the products they are offering. Are they sourced as local as possible, why do they choose to serve the products they do?

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Swash Nosh Catering & Events was created as I stood in a queue at a carnival. Being a chef that had worked my way up from nothing since I was 17 years old, I was looking for a food unit that could serve a family of four quickly with a choice for all reasonably priced & catered for Gluten Free etc, It simply didn't exist.. so I purchased a food van.
Very quickly we found ourselves to be very busy with local events, weddings etc.
I had always had a passion to see people happy and achieve outstanding customer service and feedback.
Today we work with many businesses, corporate companies sports venues and more supplying business lunches etc whilst continuing with weddings, wakes, BBQs, garden parties, pre-packed products, public & private events.
Currently working across North, South & West Norfolk as well as parts of Suffolk.

There are many reasons we are a popular caterer of choice but our bespoke menus, customer focus and attention to detail are most definitely a winner.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

I have had several bookings via this platform, from a Greek garden party to School fetes to Weddings, However the one that sticks with me was a request for a very simple budget two-course meal for 20 people and over an hour away! I ignored the request through until the final reminder.. I then replied and agreed to this. That one simple dinner is now our main contract working across seven locations and serving several thousand a year.
