In order to provide an accurate, comprehensive quote, we need to know what you expect from us in terms of choice of foods, times, location and quantity. We give bespoke quotes as every event is different and we design the service and menu to the client's needs.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

The customer needs to research the fish and chip provider via websites, social media and reviews. Ask what quality products they use - are they locally sourced? Telephone the supplier too, as we find this is better communication than emails etc as questions are answered more thoroughly. After that, use email or text for confirmation so that it is in black and white. That way there can be no confusion and everything is simple.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We love our Volkswagens and wanted to make something unique. There are no other bay window camper van fish and chip vans, so we lovingly restored ours ourselves into a full working chip shop that drives to the venue, cooking and serving from the camper itself.
Being in the catering industry for over 25 years we have learned there is no excuse for poor quality and service, which is why we only use the best quality, locally sourced products and have a team of fully trained staff.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

The proudest event we did through Add to Event is working for some of the Volkswagen commercials during filming. The director loved our fish! We tell all the caterers about Add to Event when we do festivals with them and I know they have all signed up and are really pleased with the site!
