Food Genie Ltd provide traditional British Fish and Chips from their purpose fitted van which functions as their mobile kitchen. With three fryers and two staff, they are able to serve large numbers of customers quickly and effectively. A self-sufficient gas supply means that the van can cook fish and chips on it's own power so all an event venue requires is room to park the van!
What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
For us to provide our best price we ask for the event date, the type of event that they are hosting, how many people they anticipate that we will need to cater for including the number of adults and children and the time frame that they would like the fish and chips to be served in.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Ask to see a photo of their catering wagon and their terms and conditions. Ask how long the service provider will allow to set up for their event so you know they will arrive on time.

Food Genie was created due to our talent with food and ability to make things happen! We are passionate about quality and we are able to think quickly and outside the box when it comes to producing the requirements.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We are looking forward to a wedding this year that has been booked through Add to Event where we have been booked fro the daytime food and evening food! Another good one was where a bride had been let down at the last minute by her caterer and we were commissioned to provide the day and evening food within about 5 minutes of her posting on this forum. Turning a stressed bride into a happy bride!
