What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For us to provide a comprehensive quote to a customer, we would need to know the event date, which van or menu they would be interested in, location of event and guest numbers. We can work with customers to find a menu that fits their budget, without compromising on their expectations.

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have a conversation with the supplier and let them know your expectations for your guests. Last thing you need to be worrying about, is the catering on the day. Ask the caterer to supply a few options for you to have a look at and chances are they might come up with something you hadn’t thought of.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

I’ve worked in catering for over 20 years in total, working for large companies always cutting costs to hit the bottom line profit. Cutting costs means compromising on food quality and customer experience, so I decided I didn’t want to do that anymore. I wanted to be proud of all the food I created and served, in turn giving the customer a great experience and value for money.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Since joining Add to Event, the leads and contacts I’m receiving are growing by the day. My phone has never been so busy! It has also given me an insight into how many people/businesses are looking for our services. My only regret, is not joining 12 months earlier but better late than never.
