Sweets For My Sweet provides fun food hire for all types of events. They have a wealth of experience in corporate events, weddings, promotional events, staff parties, bah mitzvahs.

What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

Ideally we'd like to know:
- Event Date
- Item to hire
- Venue location
- Number of guests
- Serving time
- Inside our outside
- Is parking provided on-site?
- Is electricity provided on-site?

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take a good look at their previous event portfolio, which would usually be their website. You should be able to see from that the 'real images' from events they have catered for. Those with generic stock images may not have the necessary experience to cater for your event if it's on a large scale.
You should ask relevant questions to get their expertise and experience. We've been trading for 14 years, so have vast knowledge on what works well.
The output of each machine is an obvious one to start with. We wouldn't try and force too many portions into a certain serving period.
Candy Floss output 100 per hour, so we're not saying it's 'unlimited'. We'll tell you the maximum (with one cart only) will be 100 per hour so you know what to expect.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

We started in Feb 2009, specialising in sweets. We had a Pick n Mix stand and Sweet Table which were quite new on the scene at the time with the trend coming over from American weddings.
Gradually each year we expand the business by buying new fun food products. We now have 22 different fun foods on our website, and continue to look for new ideas in the industry as our regular clients like to try out new products to keep their guests and staff surprised.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

It was a great experience all round. At the most recent event, we provided Popcorn, Candy Floss, and an Ice Cream Tricycle for a corporate staff party in Hackney.
It went wonderfully well, and we were busy all night serving our products. We look forward to working with them again in the future.
