What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

For Utopia Bars to give an accurate quote, we would ideally need the following details: date, time, location and estimated number of guests. Additionally, it helps to know if electric and water is available; it is no problem if not, as we can bring along the power generator for the bar. If the event is outside, will you need us to bring a marquee for the mobile bar?

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Firstly, we recommend asking about the bar structure, as there are so many different types of mobile bars out there; you may not want a plank of wood on top of two empty beer barrels for your wedding. We also recommend asking about what other packages and facilities they have to offer with your mobile bar e.g. glasses, draught beer, staff, personalisation of the bar, welcome drinks, size of the menu and if card payments are accepted at the event to help you avoid any unnecessary stress etc. Last but not least, always ask if they are licensed to sell alcohol, if not they could be breaking the law.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Utopia Bars was founded after I was working behind the bar at one of the busiest holiday hotspots in the UK. I noticed that I enjoyed serving drinks with a passion while focusing on customer service perfection. I noticed how much customers were enjoying their holidays and wondered where it would be in their most memorable moments of their lives. I realised that weddings would be the ideal events for me to continue in the same vein, exceeding everyone's expectations. We pride ourselves on our outstanding customer service, and on the fact that we have the largest drinks menu in the Midlands, to ensure that you won't be disappointed when it comes to your big day!

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

This is a very difficult question as loads of events spring to mind. The most memorable one has to be a wedding we did for over 300 guests at a mansion located in Stafford. We were located outside and had 5 bartenders on duty ensuring that everyone was served very quickly whilst also ensuring the best customer service possible. When we had the odd moment we also performed a lot of tricks and flair behind the bar which they were very amazed about. We have a number of reviews now across our social media, and google, from a few guests from that event. We highly recommend Add To Event for all hospitality industries, as well as organizers looking for the missing part of their event.
