What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?
To provide a comprehensive quote to a customer we need the event date and timings, a brief description of what type of event it is, the estimated number of guests and where it is being held and importantly if it's indoor or outdoor. What type and quantity of drinks are required is useful then we can use our experience and knowledge to decide what is needed and how to cost this.
What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Firstly ask what drinks they provide, let them know if you want craft ale and locally sourced products.
See what knowledge they have of products if they are vegan-friendly as some drinks aren't.
Also how environment-friendly they are, what they do with waste, all our products can be recycled glasses straws and bottles. Look at reviews they have to see how well they have provided for other events.
Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.
The Wild West Bar was created out of love. We worked hard to restore a broken down vintage horsebox that was stood in a field. Stripping it down and restoring her to all her glory.
I have spent all my working experience with customer service, making sure need and standards are met.
Our passion is making sure great service is given and people have the day of their dreams.
Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?
We have tailored a vodka, wine and craft ale bar for a street box convention through Add to Event.
Having sourced local craft ale and wine it went down a storm, people loved the fact we sourced from local suppliers.
They really enjoyed our photo props Wild West-themed, loads where taken.
We now have a booking every time they have the event.
