What do you need to know from an organiser in order to provide a comprehensive quote?

What advice would you give to a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

You're looking for entertainment for your event and, as such, that entertainment will be viewed as a measure of you by your guests. So, ensure a few basics up front, speak to the entertainer in person: do they have insurance? What experience do they have? Can they provide references and reviews, maybe videos? What set up do they require? Check the references. Remember that the cheapest is not always the best, so if someone is cheaper than the rest, don't be afraid to ask them why.

Please tell us a little bit about how and why you started the business.

Theres something about the smile and look of astonishment on a person's face and the pleasure that one can see in the faces of audiences that makes my work really addictive. Knowing that I've helped make hundreds of wedding couples' and event planners' days truly memorable gives me an amazing sense of satisfaction. So being able to run a business that gives me and those around me such satisfaction is simply a blessing.

Please tell us about a booking you've had through Add to Event, how did it go? Would you recommend us to others?

Well, theres been so many. New Years Eve was the most recent, performing to diners in an intimate bistro restaurant on Anglesey. The review from the owner of Sullivans was amazing. His diners were amazed and he's had phenomenal feedback from them since. I'd recommend Add to Event to friends and everyone really, unless you're another magical entertainer, then I wouldn't recommend it all because I dont want the competition!
